He's absolutely unplayable at the minute, he's doing Maradona shit now, just winning games on his own however you like.

If the "attacking midfielder for England at the World Cup" job is to his to lose, he's doing literally everything he could be doing to not lose it.

I think he's the nearest thing I've seen to prime Gareth Bale, albeit a few years younger & not quite as quick. There's no limit to what he can achieve & hopefully it's with us.

But from here on, the speculation about him going will be non-stop.

Interesting comparison. Bale's season at the same age was the massive one where he scores 25+ goals and moved to Real Madrid the following summer.

That doesn't feel like Rogers, but Bale spent half a decade before that being the great youth prospect of football, playing for Southampton as a 16 year old and all that jazz.

There wasn't the "playing on loan for Lincoln and being misused at Middlesbrough" bit of his career, so Rogers is at least two or three years back in his trajectory. And he's doing more now than Bale was at that point.

So...yeah. If he carries on as he is, that doesn't feel unrealistic to me.

Yep he’s a superb player. His blend of power and technique is pretty uncommon.

Yes, he's firmly moving the dial towards 'there's no debate to be had'.

Hold your horses, lads. According to SHA, "he's a shade behind Jude".

If he spent a month with Youri, learning how to pass, then he would be world class.
He is doing World Class stuff right now..

That gets worse every time you see it.

Two lower league snobs making a horrendous call.

However I'm glad they haven't taken it down.

Someone suggested on the transfer thread we sign Morgan Whittaker the other day and it reminded me of that clip.

Fair's fair though, from the tiny amount I've listened to, those blokes they do seem to know their stuff on the Championship.

And it's not like "why are Villa signing this bloke who looks nothing more than above-average for Middlesbrough?" was a particularly controversial opinion at the time, even on here.

BBC - "Then, with the final 10 minutes approaching, Rogers collected a loose ball 30 yards from goal"

 - a bit harsh on a decent pass from Lindelof  ....still it is the BBC

I don't know what's happening at the BBC, but it isn't good.

I honestly can’t really see a lit wrong with that BBC report.
