Why would UEFA ban us?

Legia would be arsey and say they couldn't guarantee our safety.
In that case Legia should be kicked out.

As we saw after the pathetic punishment given to them after their actions at VP that aint happening unfortunately

Warsaw Police would be bang up for it. Chance to use that jet wash with thr pepper spray. I was on the coach with somebody cornered from Sarajevo to Mostar, no different to what the Noses do really, picking on 60 year old blokes.

I'm in Warsaw this weekend and it seems Legia are at home. Might go in a Villa shirt and defend the honour of our mayonnaise.

What's their Ultras being mardy arses got to do with Warsaw Police ability to police their city with hundreds upon hundreds of officers for days on end while we're there?

A few people still had problems there despite the very obvious police presence Ads, though I didn’t hear of anybody being seriously hurt. I know 3 different people who were cornered / attacked / slightly injured. Somebody on here also reported a group of 4 lads who were attacked  by their hotel - Percy reported it IIRC.  It would be on a different scale if we played them again.

I think it was me that reported it Pat.  I was out in Legia with my good mate AV82EC and we had a great time. But I do know of people that had a bit of bother.

It was minor stuff. The lad in Mostar had it worse, getting attacked by the other Mostar teams Ultras. He was sat outside the bar later that day looking like he followed Millwall in the 70s with his surgical dressings.

Sorry to you and Percy for mixing each other up!

Ads, did the Villa fan get caught on his own in the old town? Gavin from the London lions got cornered by 5-6 blokes there before the game and had the flag nicked.

He did yeah, he got the flag out by the Old Bridge and they came in and nicked his case, rummaged through it looking for more flags, but brought it back to him. Most of us were drinking near HSK's ground so there was no bother. Lad was youngish with glasses.

No worries Pat. I did read something (on another site I think), but can’t mind if I repeated it.

The flag nicking incident was Mostar wasn't it? Unless it happened in Warsaw too

Edit- followed the conversation further up and see you were talking about Mostar.

I was in Mostar and it was tremendous. Heard about some issues but didn't see anything. Never been quite sure if the bloke who couldn't stay upright by the old bridge around midnightish got back OK but he seemed to know where he was going as he swayed off into the night.

I hope we don't get Legia in the next round.

I wouldn't mind on a football basis, as they were pretty rubbish when we played them at home.  There wouldn't be any away fans allowed any way I wouldn't have thought.
