Hope legia get thumped. You just know we are gonna get legia in next round.

I would have thought you couldn't draw teams from your own group at this stage but I don't know for sure.

Yeah unfortunately you can draw anyone in next round which is annoying. Legia vs villa would be two hostile games that we would want to avoid

Their fans wouldn't shut up at their place regardless of whether we were 5 up. If we play our strongest team, we'd do them both legs. The only reason I'd prefer to avoid them is that I've already been there once this season and would rather go somewhere fresh.

I'd rather avoid them, it'd be more hassle than it's worth.

More than likely away supporters would be banned from both legs.

Why would UEFA ban us?

Why would UEFA ban us?

Legia would be arsey and say they couldn't guarantee our safety.

I dont know ow how they'd reconcile that with the absolute army of police who were on duty and well up for it last time. We only saw their fans inside the ground.

What's their Ultras being mardy arses got to do with Warsaw Police ability to police their city with hundreds upon hundreds of officers for days on end while we're there?

Next week’s Gent v Haifa play-off 2nd Leg is now being played behind closed doors with all tickets refunded. The local authorities have taken that decision…

“the open character of the KAA Gent Arena and the fact that it is not possible to set up an external security perimeter around the stadium means that it is impossible to provide watertight guarantees with regard to safety in light of the current circumstances. of all supporters present. As a result, in the event of a bomb threat, which the law enforcement authorities believe is likely to occur, the stadium will have to be completely evacuated, which will cause a lot of unrest and dissatisfaction among those present.”

The city of Ghent also fears incidents in the center: " We have now received a request to demonstrate and it is expected that more reports will follow as the match day approaches. The international trend is that such demonstrations are becoming increasingly grim and more and more mobilize the people, making it increasingly difficult for the security forces to keep everything running smoothly."

If the match is disrupted for a long period of time, KAA Gent risks being given a forfeit score by UEFA. All this ultimately led to the decision to play behind closed doors. Although the public is not allowed, there will be a large police presence on the evening of the match to guarantee safety.

I think we may be a little less focussed on this competition now.

A few people still had problems there despite the very obvious police presence Ads, though I didn’t hear of anybody being seriously hurt. I know 3 different people who were cornered / attacked / slightly injured. Somebody on here also reported a group of 4 lads who were attacked  by their hotel - Percy reported it IIRC.  It would be on a different scale if we played them again.

In that case Legia should be kicked out.
