We still sing it and were on the concourse last Saturday, only we change "no one else" to "fuck the ones" who catch us up.

I have a similar record to your mate and I too would dearly love to see Villa win the FA Cup before I exit this world. However, I also work with a lad in his twenties who has been going home and away throughout our lean years to every match and has never seen Villa lift a trophy in his young life other than the Playoff Final. I'll never forget seeing our boys lift trophies but this lad and many others like him absolutely deserve the opportunity to witness some glory moments of their own.
