They can be take over by a consortium of the combined sovereign wealth funds of every member state of the United Nations - we will still bury them so deep they will be consumed by magma.

Utd we're very cautious when we played there last season & continually played the ball behind our back line to break the offside trap.

I expect them to do exactly the same tomorrow. If we get the first goal they'll buckle.
just that one scrawny chance wasn't it off our goal kick, Rashford shot Martinez goes down in installments and rat features picks up the droppings

Andy Cole had an almost 1 goal every 2 game record at Man United and throughout his career.
Andrew Cole went a number of games without scoring when he joined them then got his first goal v us in a 1-0 home win , scored down the Stretford End , i was in the away end fuming
See also Diego Forlan, fucker couldn't buy a goal until we obliged.
Yep i was there for that one too. Fortunately i missed the Macarada goal
I was there for the Macheda winner, well into Fergie time, as I recall. It was a great goal. admittedly, this was one of the games we should never have lost (like Arsenal away in 2019)

I turned a table over in a fit of rage surrounded by Taiwanese man Utd supporters in Tainan.

And was escorted off the premises.

A bad evening
the FA Cup game at Villa Park did me when we went from 2-0 up after 80 mins to losing 2-3 in Fergie time was it Solskaaer or Van Horse Face . I had to go and cool off in the back garden that evening

A lot of understandable PTSD on this thread, Henrik Larsson. Even Phil Jones scored his first goal for them against us.

It's that time of year when we forget what day it is. Glad to see I'm not the only one.

I get the impression with Man U fans that they like this team because they have to like them versus wanting to like them. They will turn on them quickly if we get into them quickly and score.

Yeah, I only had it on TV. Although  that’s sometimes worse given I had the sound on and the sycophantic commentary.

Only been to Old Trafford twice.
The last minute Kiraly goal through his legs after Milan Baros equalised?
Also the 1996 FA Cup Semi Final against Liverpool which didn't go well either!

Ffs. There's always something isn't there.
We'll still give them a good scudding

Is Rashford really going to be suitably roused because Ineos have bought a 25% share?

A few years ago I'd have assumed the worst. However, these days I go in to games at Old Trafford - not exactly optimistic, but with at least an element of hope.

I'm watching it on telly with my 'Welsh red' in laws, so hopefully I'll manage to make myself thoroughly unwelcome to stay by Boxing Day tea :)

He's probably more concerned that the starlight ceiling, games consoles and TV are all working properly in his chauffeur-driven Mercedes van.

Yes. Obviously. They're playing the Villa.
