Given an expected return to winning ways at home, v Burnley next Saturday, I'd settle for us avoiding defeat on Boxing Day, all things considered. So another 1-1 draw, I reckon.

Rasmus Højlund is a dead cert to score against us!

I still haven't got over Forlan scoring against us after his drought of however many matches it was.

Maybe I need to change my mindset, we are a different animal these days and it's about time we gave these bastards a jolly good spanking.

Or Macheda, the next big thing after scoring against us but never heard of against us.

Yeah I had that from all the Man utd fans how great he was going to be.

Anyone who's going, beware of the food. I now feel bad for slagging off the Villa Chippy.

Manchester United have been told "major improvements" are needed to ensure food sold at Old Trafford is safe to eat.

The Premier League side have been given a one star out of five food hygiene rating after a Food Standards Agency inspection last month.

The Red Devils admitted "a small amount of undercooked meat was inadvertently served during a non matchday event".

"This was an isolated issue and the immediate failures were quickly addressed," the club said.

United said they are also conducting an independent food audit to identify any further areas of improvement.

"MUFC has taken this incident very seriously and wants to reassure our valued fans and customers that we maintain the highest culinary standards," the club added.

"The club is proud of the high standards and the five-star food hygiene record which had been awarded to us for the past eight years.

"Everyone at the club is determined to regain our five-star food hygiene status as quickly as possible."

Typical that Burnley have suddenly hit some form with a shock away win at Fulham!

Andy Cole had an almost 1 goal every 2 game record at Man United and throughout his career.

Arguably we had 3 calls that went against us on Friday that should have gone the other way - a goal and two penalties- so you’d hope on the law of averages that’d balance out. Sadly we’re playing at Old Trafford, so we can guarantee a number of calls will go against us.

3 penalties. Watkins, Konsa, handball, the goal.

Yeah I’m not convinced on the Konsa one, but either way on the law of averages it’s pretty unfortunate to have all of them going against you.

Yeah it’s not deliberate, I’m not going to descend into Arsenal fan style conspiracy nonsense. I think for the disallowed goal it’s a philosophical issue with the application of VAR, I think sometimes they’re looking for a reason to disallow, rather than checking that there aren’t any material mistakes/misses from the on field decision.

Agree with this. I stand correct but when we beat Brighton 6-1, I'm sure three of our goals were checked by VAR.

I get that but it is difficult to understand how or why they seem to get so many things wrong, the lack of consistency regarding decisions and the use of VAR leads a lot of people to believe they are bringing the game in to disrepute.

Don't think it's a conspiracy against us in particular, but I do think certain clubs get those decisions and the others usually don't. Was a miracle that the Arsenal goal against us was ruled out.
