No Tielemans out for another fortnight.  Pau is touch and go which means go in our case. Dendonkey in to allow McGinn forward please. Cash is suspended.  Even if his hurty shoulder is okay.  So konsa at right back again and Carlos back?
Bah humbug and no coals for the fire

We'll have to be ahead by at least two goals before our penalty area becomes a RADA audition venue in the last 5 minutes.

Not going to get the chance to watch this until after the game has finished. We’ve done well when I’ve avoided the games, my head says 1-1 but my heart says 3-1 Utd. As with Archer scoring against us you can bet that Hojlund will inevitably break his duck.

I wish we wasn’t playing these tomorrow. I hate Boxing Day fixtures as it is.

I did think this afterwards 😂….. does it change it though. Looking at it we should get a draw but being a Villa fan and hugely pessimistic I think we’ll lose. That’s all I meant.

I have to say that I would much rather play them if they were not on a dismal run.

I think we're playing them one game late in their run. This is the turn-it-around, dig-it-out phase of the streak. Game before is rock bottom; game after would be up for grabs. This is the worst possible timing.

Yeah. I think you are right.
Still though, Unai is the man to buck a trend.

They're shit. And they'll carry on being shit for a while. They've won 1 of the last 7 games in all comps and not scored in the last 4. Us last season are the only good side they've beaten for about 10 months. Next best are Chelsea/Brentford/Wolves. We turn up with the right attitude and performance and we win. We're better than them, it's up to us to show it.

This with bells on. Don't expect anything if we don't turn up. It's in our hands.

This is the biggest game in football for me and one that I want to win the most. I’m thinking 2-0 to us and a fabulous performance.
