Another arm to Comcast appears to be Comcast Spectator who used to own the Philadelphia 76ers, (Hecks old employers) still own the stadium they play in and a lot of other sports teams and stadiums in the US via Spectra, a subsidary company.

Makes no differencetp English clubs due to 3 reasons:
1. Fans don't like it.
2. Premier League Charter put in place after the last ESL insurrection.
3. The  new Independent Regulator.
The Premier League Charter won't be enforceable in a court of law

It won't need to be, the PL can decide who can and can not play in their league.

I think the point it the ESL teams also want access to local leagues as well and the ESL to replace the CL. So if they do join the ESL, the PL can state "Fuck off then" with no legal comeback. If the said teams decide to voluntarily leave the PL, so fucking what and good riddance.

Yep, it's very much a cake and eat it situation. The likes of Man City love the riches they get in from the Premier League, they just want a lot more for playing other big European teams as well. They don't want to fuck about playing CL group games against league winners from Romania, they want 20 games a year, every year against the like of Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG and Inter.

So do I, the PL would be like a Turkey voting for Christmas  if they don’t.

That’s not the point and never was.

The point was they wanted to be in a super league AND the Premier league.

The Premier League is the richest competition in the world and is miles more popular than the Champions League. Why would they want to leave that?

That’s the irony. There already is a European super league - the Premier League.

Depends on what money is thrown at it - Middle Eastern sponsors could impact the PL like LIV Golf has done.

I can see Saudi and Qatari teams joining this Super League thing too.
