I can see Saudi and Qatari teams joining this Super League thing too.

The Premier League is the richest competition in the world and is miles more popular than the Champions League. Why would they want to leave that?
Another desperate grab at financial parity with the EPL by 2 clubs in particular. It didn’t happen a few years back and it won’t happen now.

Fans don't like it.2. Premier League Charter put in place after the last ESL insurrection.3. The new Independent Regulator. The Premier League Charter won't be enforceable in a court of law It won't need to be, the PL can decide who can and can not play in their league.and they can't stop teams from leaving it either That’s not the point and never was. The point was they wanted to be in a super league AND the Premier league.

The thing is football is a team game followed by team supporters. Golf is about individuals and there is no loyalty. The last attempt was seen off because of a fan backlash encouraging government to get involved and let’s face it that will happen again, even more so if Saudis are involved. Never underestimate the humble fan doused in generations of history…..

Like others have said, can definitely see the Saudis getting involved and the figures floating around being astronomical and heads being turned.
because without the "sky6" the EPL is nothing . Therefore they will ultimately call the shots
