You are getting smashed and overrun in midfield, you have an England midfielder sitting on the bench, what do you do? Kalvin Phillips has to feel like shit, why on earth would he stay there?
Final memory will be the Villa fans. Bloody hell, what an atmosphere, what support. There will never be a goal more beautiful than watching the Villa fans celebrate a goal. The TV cameras are close by to the away fans and normally they come across as loud but last night, from the first minute, all I could hear was our fans. Such brilliant support and as Bailey and others have pointed out, it really does help drive the team on.
Quote from: Toronto Villa on December 07, 2023, 04:16:30 PMDelighted to see you didn’t jump of that bridge Mark. We were worried about you yesterday. Ha! In my defence we'd seen nothing before that made me think moving Konsa over to right back and bringing in Carlos would work. I'd also seen the highlights of their game against Spurs when on another day they could have scored close to double figures. I didn't see a queue of people before the game thinking it was a great move either. That said, I will try and tow the 'Unai knows best' line from now on and for the record, it wasn't me that needed a change of underwear for the last 15-20 minutes. I've seen us numerous times comfortably see out games. Yesterday was probably easier than most. Before I forget, I'm taking credit for the win. I was making spinach, ricotta and pecorino balls before the game and when rolling them out I realised I'd have 13. I made 12. Not that I'm superstitious but I wasn't going to risk it.

Please ensure you make 13 of something else on Saturday. If you don't and we lose we will blame you forever. No pressure mate. Only 14 straight home league wins at stake.
My heart bleeds for Man City and their injury crisis. Imagine only having a bench with midfielders like Nunes (£53m), Phillips (£42m), Kovacic (£25m) and Gomez (£11m). The humanity!
