What's happened to Porro's face there? Is it always like that? Is that something else Spurs can count themselves unlucky about?

Well I haven’t anyway. You never will because they know they have no tech to prove the moment…it’s why I end up screaming at tv everytime some idiotic pundit says VAR is factual for offsides….it isn’t!!

It has been pointed out that that terribly weakened Spurs starting 11 still cost £74m more in transfer fees that the line up Villa kicked off with...
Remember the media wankfest when Newcastle hit the top 4.And when Brighton did, briefly.

I think the fact that we have moved into a top four position at this stage of the season for the first time since what 2009, and there are pages dedicated to what Jermaine bloody Jenas thinks, the media fawning over Spurs and their injuries and semantics like the severity or otherwise of their injury list over ours, shows maybe a lack of confidence on our part as supporters. There are clubs out there who are always milling around this part of the table, its parr for the course, not us for what has been a dire generation footballing wise. We haven’t done or won anything yet and it would be small time to over celebrate something that could change within a week. At the same time, I think we should stop pontificating over what the media thinks or doesn’t think of us, or the fact they favour poor old Spurs. We should also stop worrying about what we deserved or otherwise from Sunday. Over the last 12 months we are the second or third best team in the country, we’ve moved into the top four, we play some brilliant football. Feck everyone else and what they think, under Emery we march on.

I don't think that this place would be a particularly interesting read if the post-match threads were nothing more than people furiously agreeing with the fact that we won.
I thought Torres' header was fantastic for the goal, even better when you see he was having the shirt pulled off him at the time. That special upper body workout he's on must be paying off.
