He took it so early it still surprises me every time I watch it. Ace goal.
I think he has improved by being in a team that plays the offside trap so well.
Both his goal and his "offside" goal you can see how aware he is of the defenders positions, compared to Son who kept getting it wrong.

I'm still not convinced he was offside , he looked clearly on from the angle of the side where the cross came from

I’ve haven't  seen an angle from when the ball actually left Digne’s boot either. We see the line but not the ball on his foot. Well I haven’t anyway.

And that was a brilliant move leading up to it too.

Again, Spurs can fuck off with their blarting, you'd think after getting beat three times in the calendar year the penny would drop.

Also, I thought back to when we played them at home under carpethead, battered them, missed a glut of chances through ace striker Danny Ings, and somehow lost 4-0. I don't remember the chat afterwards being about how lucky Spurs were.

The Cash reaction is ludicrously overblown - it’s a poor tackle and a yellow card. It got the punishment it deserved, it’s unfortunate it’s resulted in injury, but that doesn’t mean it’s a red.

I agree, it was a poor tackle, but not bad enough for a red. His rankle on Matt Doherty 18 months ago was worse and I think that’s what is driving them mad as they seem to think he has a vendetta!

On the tube after the game nobody I spoke to mentioned it as a big turning point.

Let's be honest if Spurs had clung on and won the game none of this would of ever been mentioned . It's just sour grapes

You never will because they know they have no tech to prove the moment…it’s why I end up screaming at tv everytime some idiotic pundit says VAR is factual for offsides….it isn’t!!

I’m trying to find evidence from scanning sports radio and podcasts that we won yesterday. I have seen and heard lots of Spurs losing and threw it away unluckily. Can someone direct me to a place where they commend Villa without it being tempered by the opponent allowing us to win.

I don't think that what Emery is doing is 'miraculous' at all. It's merely a case of us having a manager worthy of the job now and doing as well as a club of our size and resource should be doing.

I thought Torres' header was fantastic for the goal, even better when you see he was having the shirt pulled off him at the time. That special upper body workout he's on must be paying off.

What's happened to Porro's face there? Is it always like that? Is that something else Spurs can count themselves unlucky about?

Just noticed in the back of that photo there's another Villa player having the shirt pulled off them. Can't even see who it is it's being pulled that far.
