As a fan of over 40 years, I am conditioned to the 'Villa way' of raising expectations, only to fall at the simplest hurdle. So While Luton are who they are, I saw this as a bit of a banana skin. And apart from the Chuckle Brothers at the back making the decision to keep up our recent habit of scoring four per game, there was nothing like a banana skin in sight. Nothing. So delighted with the result that gives us a bit of a cushion from 5th spot to 6th.One thing that did piss me off about the game on Sunday actually had nothing to do with us at all, but the people over at SkySports talking about two games in particular. On one hand, you had Robert Earnshaw with his cock in hand, spraying semen around at the excitement of Liverpool dicking Forest. On the other hand, you had Clinton Morrison, practically crying & talking about how boring it was that Villa were dicking Luton. They really are scum...It annoyed me a bit last night that all MOTD2 could think to talk about after our game was set pieces, the main thrust of which was hilarious 'bants' taking the mickey out of Murphy for his comments about teams having specialist coaches. Very little about our superb run of form and that we've now cemented outselves in that top 5 pack.

As ever, I found the three of them a bit dreary on the whole but they did pick up on how excellent Diaby is and highlighted that.

The three promoted teams are genuinely awful this season. Luton are that poor the best teams in this league could and should be resting multiple regulars against them.

Aren't developers building the stadium as part of a wider development and Luton will just pay rent on the ground
I respect Luton for the honesty in that. It’s a rare case of a club being sensible and thinking long term.
