For once, I will be delighted that the place will be half empty. As has been pointed out before, while we might have a large waiting list for Season tickets, fans won't pay any old price for any old game. There isn't a bottomless pit of day trippers and tourists that are willing to come to Villa Park on a wet Wednesday night for a what many see as a low level cup game.
Although this site is only a glimpse of how the fans feel, the amount of tickets sold tells you that this could well be the general feeling. Many dedicated supporters have baulked at the cost and acted accordingly and there is no one to make up the shortfall whatever Heck thinks.
Basically, the Club have, not for the first time in the last few months, made the wrong call.
