That’s less than Everton brought to VP for the LC semi in the 80’s.

16428 left by my calculations, there were 17900 late on Monday evening. They're selling but very slowly. Interesting to see if tomorrow night's match has any impact on sales.

I was taking the piss from the said LC semi in 84 when they claimed to have taken way more than they did to VP. And to be fair they took a few thousand. Had the whole of the Witton Lane and more. It’s been a standing joke since.  They won and went on to a great few victorious seasons after that win.

I suspect we would have taken 4,500 to Everton if it was away.

Still find it weird that it will be such a low home crowd.

Given the 33,000 on the waiting list it does make you wonder

There will be +2000 empty seats in the North Stand too - Everton have the whole stand, yet only got given 4500 out of the 6500 tickets.

No way am I shelling out for this.

I’ve shelled out but then I’m a considerably better fan than you
I am much more better an than yow cos I paid for two seats. One for me and one to put down caviar and champagne tea I am taking with me. Very good of club to sell at bargain prices.

Ask your buttler to not put the caviar in your champagne tea. It’ll taste better that way.

I reckon it will get to 30,000 which is still decent for the prices.

I’m presuming they have emailed all those on the waiting list separately once it got to general sale to try and push more sales…though it is our ticket office so perhaps presuming is way to much :-)

They don't have the whole stand, only the upper, I believe.

EDIT - by which i mean the whole lower north will be unused. I vaguely recall us doing that for someone else in a LC game, might be Cardiff?

I was just going to say you can't click to buy in the NS at all, but like you've said it's probably that they're going to leave the rest of it empty.

16048 still for sale. That's around 2000 sold since they went on general sale.

A lot of people on here complaining about prices, but online chat doesn't always convey real life opinions, so it's been interesting keeping an eye on this.
