We should have too much for them but they’re a different team under Kompany and they’ll be up for it in their first home game since promotion. They already played at home opening Friday night v CiŁy 0-3

Sure i read they beat Redfilth in a behind closed doors friendly 3-0 as they have not played since losing to |CiteŁIm not sure they are the dirty fucking cloggers that Dyche had up there but feel that we should have enough to take the sting out of their early pressure to take control of the game.3pts would be very welcomeMartinez (I'm sure last nights withdraw was only a precaution)CashKonsaPauDigneLuisKamaraBaileyMcGinnDiabyWatkins

They played most Championship sides off the park last season, playing possession-based football, moving the ball with plenty of fluidity and creativity. However, it's obviously easier to pass it around someone like Preston, than it is to pass it around premier league side.I think it will be much closer than people think. I wouldn't read too much into the Man City result. I'd take a win by a single goal, definitely. If they can impose the same playing style they deployed in the Championship, I could see them being comfortably mid-table this season.
Burnley really shouldn’t be spoken with in the same breath as the villa
Quote from: eamonn on August 24, 2023, 01:24:51 PMIf anything else, our match fitness should be far superior. We've played three times since their last game ( which was also their first and only game so far of the season). They played Man U in a friendly yesterday and won 3-0

Ready Brek? I would hope we're more like 'Flahavan’s Organic Porridge Oats'.
