And don’t refer to it as Buckfast - the correct title is “Buckie”, “Commotion Lotion” or “Wreck the Hoose Juice”

TA.
Those of you with Scottish ancestry how do I approach the locals to stay safe? I have heard they can be brash and aggressive after taking a sip of their bottled water?

They are a simple ,humble people. They like to be referred to as Scotch, rather than Scottish or Scots. You shouldn't mention the name of the country, simply call it North Britain at all times. They love the Royal Family so you should give them the opportunity to pay tribute to the king. They refrain from all types of conflict, but love to hear visitors attempting to recreate their accents, even if you have no flair for mimicry. They appreciate the effort. Margaret Thatcher remains a folk hero, a kind of 'mother of the nation' so do bear that in mind during all exchanges and you'll all have a great time!
Hope his life insurance is up to date

Wow! Thanks SE. I had no idea that our beloved Maggie was also revered by the Scots…sorry I mean the Scotch. I defo won’t do the accent bit, as with my background I embrace all accents and avoid idiotic mimicry at all times.

No problem pal. I forgot to add that in August, it's considered polite to carry 'flyers' with you to hand to people as they make their way to and from work.

I've just realised I've never tried Irn Bru.

I honestly don't think you're missing out, mate 😂

A barbaric concoction.

Good adverts though.

It’s fine so long as you’re quoting Brave Heart.

Been watching travelling fans days unfold on twitter as they journey up to Edinburgh.
Some of them have been on the ale literally since the crack of dawn. I just don't get it . They'll barely remember the game .
Might aswell just go down the local pub and get bladdered and cut out all the travel costs

Sun is staying respectfully a step behind clouds, it’s a bit muggy, not ultra warm but bearable in a tee shirt just now, later a highlands wool knitted sweater maybe in order.

Make to wear your Russ Abbot style ginger wig and Tam o Shanter so you don't stand out amongst the locals.

Maybe they want to blend in with the locals?

Just found a bar in Sidaria advertising it as being on six screens, so going to head down there.
