Signed for Chelsea

Post of the day.
Buendias replied to Stattos now deleted tweet about the rumours:

"Please be serious and have the right information before saying something like that..."

Emi, the only fucker left we can trust on and off the pitch.

To note Emi hasn't actually refuted it, just called out having the facts before posting about it.

Everything we know leans towards him having a small problem towards the end of the season that had us managing his minutes. Unless we hear anything else I'm assuming he's been given an extended break to help with his recovery and he'll be back soon.

That's the realistic, sensible approach. But as it's Villa, the odds are he's slipped on a banana skin and done both ACL's.

Not so much fearing the worst, more planning the funeral and sorting the will.

The rule with Villa injuries is that the worst case scenario is always correct.

Seem him in October, 2027.

Quite right. Doesn't rule out anything but it's better not to be sensationalist.

“The right information” does worry me a bit.  Sounds like there is something, just not an ACL.

"Pau is injured. Sustained in first few days of pre-season. Response at the time was that it wasn't a major injury (like the rumours festering last night).

Alysson picked up a knock last week, Buendia is being managed. Abraham, shoulder rehab."

Alysson's got the constitution of a kitten.

Sounds like Alyson has picked up the Onana baton and ran with it, I mean hobbled with it.

Bournemouth’s young Brazilian signing goes from a January signing, considered a decent prospect to smashing it in the PL, to starting for Brazil. Ours can’t play two games without an injury.

Aside from the injury stuff, I think Rayan was a lot less in the “punt” territory than Alysson.

Appreciate your point in more about injury /availability than quality - but they're not really the same level of signing.

Rayan had played 100 games in Brazil and scored twenty goals the season before he joined Bournemouth.

Alysson had played a handful of games and scored one senior goal in his life.
