How come VAR can be used to give a penalty when it’s been missed by the ref and not be used when the ref gives a penalty which isn’t a penalty? Those two incidents at the Wolves game is one of main reasons VAR is frustrating.

It has been used several times to overrule penalties (well for the ref to review himself and decide which is always the case for anything but offside.) Remember they even sent the ref to the screen against Crystal Palace, but he decided the defenders contact wasn't enough and stood by his decision.

The problem is always what the ref told VAR he saw. If there is not enough to overturn that, it then can't be called a clear and obvious error.

Easy for me to say as I don't live amongst them, but I'd rather Blose were in the Prem than League One.

It gives more publicity to the city to the world from a footballing perspective and would also be a guaranteed 6 points.

Jesus mate, how to win friends and influence people!
Similarly, I feel like wearing a GAA shirt and going for a stroll down the Shankhill Road.
Wear an Armagh shirt, that’ll confuse ‘em.

Nah, New York is probably the safest bet.

I have repented and wish to atone. My first memory of that lot is that tit Tait revealing his anti-Villa t-shirt and it made me sick.

Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in Villa Park over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

What's happened to Eamonn? First of all we had the "Buendia is fit" hope-raising kerfuffle, then this latest episode. When good posters go bad.

Absolutely. I'm convincing myself it's okay just this once, as long as we excorcise the demons at Villa Park a week on Monday.

Nah, I want Liverpool to smash the shit out of Spurs. By the end of that game I want to be celebrating CL football at Villa Park next season. That’s all that matters.

Like Philogene he wanted to leave to get first team football. Pep is on record of saying he wanted him to stay but the player was adamant. It’s worked out for him.
