That must have been a great game for a neutral to watch, but not good for the blood pressure for us lot! Brighton are a very good team and our high line in the first half was a bit mad. Fair play to Unai for making the necessary adjustments. Thought we deserved the win in the end through the quality of chances we created.

Been travelling and unable to follow the game properly, but...

FFUUUUUCKIN GETINNNNNNN!

Can't quite believe we're returning to Europe after all these years. Feeling a bit emotional. We're properly back! The natural order is being restored.

Unai Emery is a cast iron, bona fide, stone cold fucking genius.

Seriously can’t remember being that tense for years.
The Sky ****** switched to the Everton game after we won so missed most of the celebrations.
Pack your bags ladies and gents.
We are going on an adventure

Now the thread is created, it’s totally unthinkable as to where we ended up this season.

When we lost to Fulham 3-0 and Gerrard got fired, it was a sliding doors moment. If we had kept going for longer, we would have been down in the mix. What has actually happened is simply incredible. Emery’s appointment was a stroke of genius. What form, what a run, what a team - and we have pulled off what many of us would have thought was unthinkable 6 months ago.

Our mentality was very strong today - Brighton are no fools and deserve their position. And they made a game of it too. But we defended that game excellently. Watkins huffed and puffed and glad he got a tap in.

But my goodness… what a season! UTV!!!
Sums it up nicely for me.

From relegation candidates under the useless Kopite Gobshite to a European place with a decent manager. All in the space of a few months. Lovely.

Fucking hell that was tense. I think the players felt the tension just as much as the fans. great win though. Brighton weren't just going through the motions. They wanted to win that.

And I couldn't give a monkeys if it's the Conference League. I'm glad we're in it and I want us to go balls out to win the thing.
