They got rid of the round badge to re-instate the yellow Lerner lion so they obviously want to push yellow so it could well be legit, unfortunately. Claret and Blue are our colours, we were the first to wear those colours and I hope we showcase that in the champions league this year.

I could live with that shirt if all the adidas stripes and detail were blue, but Heck would have to very brave/stupid to approve a claret and yellow shirt when he knows full well that Aston Villa wear claret and blue. I’m refusing to believe he’s either that brave or stupid.

I don't think he is either of those things.

He just does not give two fucks about us & what we think.

I have no idea how you have come to that conclusion. It’s possible to be critical without going to such extremes. Surely if he didn’t care about any of that he’d have said “Villa Park has had a good run but we need to move to the xxxxxx Superdome”. He didn’t. He showed that history and tradition is important but it has to be balanced against a demographic that simply does exist in the 18th/19th century or harps on about ‘82.

And we had a very popular all claret kit made a fan. If Heck had been involved he’d have been hammered for it.
