If the sleeves aren't blue, as some sort of historical nod to our first kits, I think this place might go into meltdown.  Personally, I'd be disappointed as I was hoping to buy my first replica kit in well over a decade, but I'm hoping for it to be recognisable AS a Villa kit.

I guess there is a precedent for no blue sleeves with the Luke kit, which was pretty well-liked?

I think it'll look great, as did the Luke kit.  Appreciate it won't be for everyone though.

I've become more open-minded about kits over the years and so long as we always ultimately revert to claret body blue sleeves, then I'm all for an occasional change.

In the same way I loved the Meson-Carbone stripes, the Macinally Mitre kit and the Dalian stripes.  I even liked the Henson kits, although have much less affection for them because of Steve fucking Hodge.  In those days we didn't have social media meltdowns, people either just liked them or didn't.  I can't recall any sort of outcry that's for sure.

Yes you can. You can also add custom logos or anything that is a jpeg and png.

I think it looks alright, i'd pefer blue sleeves but we've often not had them. The quality is more important. Castore has blue sleeves, it's still shit. Luke was, and still is, a massively popular shirt, claret sleeves.

I agree. Havw you seen how much that luke shirt goes on ebay? Its probably one of our most expensive home shirts in recent times

...I didn't like the Luke shirt. It's one of the few in the last ten years I didn't buy.

I guess in that case, it ranks with this season's blue monstrosity in my book.
