Then 17 years later in a pub in Chester a man brought him a pint and he recognised it was the one who caused him to lose a bollock so he went over and battered him. Haven't looked this up but it's quite funny to retaliate 17 years later if it is.Reminded me of a 12-year delayed Mafia revenge murder for a punch in the face back in the sixties/seventies.

Haaland has only needed 44 games to bring up his half-century - with 34 Premier League goals, 12 in the Champions League, three in the FA Cup and one in the Carabao Cup.

Because of the time span and number of members, there are literally hundreds of compelling Cosa Nostra stories. It’s so hard to keep track.

I don't understand why sky sports insist on picking out selective stats of the Premier League era when there are what, 110-120 more years of football that existed before they changed the name of the league in the early 90s. If they are going to do that, then they need to start the history books again every time the sponsors name changes. Halaand is currently the third highest scorer behind Dean & Waring in English top division league football. And he has done that with half of the worlds finances being used to purchase his current squad. The likes of Dean & Waring did it on boggy pitches with a football that weighed more than Halaands ego.

Not to mention that tactical innovations have caught up with the change in the offside rule in 1925 which statistics suggest teams were struggling with in the 20s and 30s.Not making out Haaland is any better than those players of old, just that it's impossible to compare.

It doesn't mean the achievements of the past are any less spectacular, it just means they might as well have come in a different sport.
