This. This is the biggest disappointment.

I thought we did ok. Not great, but we're hard to beat.

Two games in a row that Chambers and Digne came on and improved us, think they deserve a start. Thought playing a very high line in the first half condensed the midfield and gave our playmakers little room, Emery changed tactics and we looked much more dangerous. They had done their homework and closed down JJ and Buendia starving Watkins of any supply. Emery has very few options left, it looks as if Coutinho is waiting for his next pay day.

Moreno seems to slow down his running looking for an offside in the lead-up to their goal, Fernandes worked harder to get to the ball first even if the angle also slightly favoured him. What was with his death-stare towards the Villa end, were we shouting mean things at him?

He was getting booed a lot before the goal, I presume for, well... being Fernandes, but he might have done something I missed.

And that was probably offside

It had to end at some point.

Absolutely, Lee. Just a shame it had to come against these bastards.

I was screaming at the TV at Buendia. The amount of times he lost the ball, threw his arms up in the air and just stopped rather than chase back was driving me mental. I like him but he showed his worst side today.

Thought Martinez should of done better for the goal.

JJ was ineffective

Watkins looked lost

Squad is running on empty and it may now cost us

It's hard to be too critical after the run we've had and like a few have said, it had to end sometime. Let's hope Wolves continue their comedy defending next week.

Fernandez is a horrible little prick. Staring down the away fans after being rightly called out on being a dirty cheating wanker, just about sums him up. Dismal individual.

That said, we created hardly anything until the end and Man U were a bit better than us. Tossers.

I think I'd have chinned Buedia in the dressing room after that had I been in the team.

Reports of our being dominated were greatly exaggerated. What happened was we didn't play well, and they (unfortunately I watch a lot of them as my only football pals around here are 'M U' fans) played better than they have done in ages.

We need reinforcements. We looked leggy and totally dependent on the first eleven. We need injured players back (massively - a fully fit and firing Kamara would have made for a different game), and we need players in the summer.

Probably because he went down like a sack of spuds, in the penalty area. Rolled around for a minute or two. Realised he wasn’t getting a free kick; then just jumped up and carried on😏😏

I know I find it hard to believe as well 😃😃

They sacrificed a winger to beef up their midfield, which I suppose was a compliment. Unfortunately it worked..

Disappointed but not too downbeat.

Motd and Sky had us down as having 1 shot on target.

De Gea saved one from Moreno, one off the line from Luiz. Which one of those didn't count?
