I’m in with the Leicester fans. Loads streaming for the exit as soon as the goal went in.

Two things I was thinking which I didn’t want to say and jinx anything.
1. Nice to win when a team goes down to 10 men
2. We’re fucking ace

It wasn't just winning against 10-men, it's that we totally dominated from the red card onwards.  How often have we played 10 men and you'd never guess we have a one-man advantage? Or the other team lifts their game and looks a real threat on the break making everything nervy?

We were measured, not rushed at all, played it about nicely looking for openings, and frankly it felt like a matter of time.  It was such an UnVilla-like performance against 10-men, and I absolutely love it.

We do need to sign Harvey Barnes in the summer, that kid is a real talent.

I would have loved Barnes when we lost Grealish - problem is he would have cost 85m in that context.

We can probably get him for a lot less now

Wanted to pun it up a bit, in tribute to our maverick no 9 (?!)

Plastic Bertrand et al won't cut it on this night of nights.  I came up short (natch)

But Pun Generator had these gems:

This is Gonna Bert

Please Hammer, Don't Bert 'Em

Do You Really Want to Bert Me

Bit chilly - were they wearing Keith Weller tights?

I'm speechless. We don't beat 10 men and we don't do late winners right? The times are changing.

So happy for Traore, he's scored a few good goals but were any of them in front of the fans? A special moment for him that will hopefully restart his career with us.

They'll show the Top 6 and the bottom 12

According to the Beeb, Country Home was about to be subbed for Pereira at the next stoppage as they had already told the 4th official and that had filtered into the Press feed.

You do have to laugh.

Dramatic finish...free kick to start with was farcical, Martinez moment of madness, credit Watkins he kept his head as did the VAR. To be fair Tony Gale even called it a free out straight away

At times we played lovely stuff. Leicester helped us by playing Vardy who made Danny Ings look like the roadrunner...We played nice stuff 11 v 11 but thought we need a lot earlier subs. Has that feel of the end of DOLs first season where no matter the performance we are winning or getting results. If I'm honest I thought Emery had a nightmare today, crap team selection, Bailey, timing of subs...then Bert crops with the winner out of nowhere....We go again

Martinez 6 - very good until that moment of madness on last play
Young 5 - Barnes was far too sharp for him but kept going, bit of a Kane/Grealish for the red I thought...
Konsa 6 - annoyed me with his passes at snail pace when we needed to lift tempo
Mings 7 - solid again, easy night
Moreno 7 - looks a really good signing, wrong option shooting when through second half though
Ramsey 5 - poor but horribly out of position on right
McGinn 7 - very good first half but tired second
Luiz 8.5 - few mistakes second half but best player on pitch for me
Buendia 7 - quality assist, not suited to his position tonight but nice touches
Watkins 8 - brilliant goal, top defending at end
Bailey 2 - Vichy like conviction, sad seeing a pro like that tonight

Duran...very (very) raw, Bert brilliant goal.

Was that Bert’s first touch?!

No he'd had a little dribble at the full back just before.

Goals like that are why I like him as a player,  he's inconsistent but at his best I think he's as good as anyone at the club.

Mention for Luiz again who I truly believe is the best centre mid in the league on form, absolute Rolls Royce of a player, he played 5-6 passes today that were just magical.

Everyone will be talking about Bert's strike, but Watkins' goal was brilliant. Great strength to hold off the defenders, and the toe-poke past the 'keeper was dead clever.

His weakness always seemed to be his first touch, but that's improved beyond all recognition in recent games. Top lad.
