Thank you Bert. What a great result. I love Unai's Villa, they're brilliant.

We were mad to loan him out after his first season. Gerrard’s irrational hatred of wingers.

The reaction of all our players for the goal and at full time suggest he's a very popular member of the squad. He frustrated me as much as the next man , but Gerrard hasn't got that golden quality Emery has ... getting the best out of what you've got.

We completely dominated from midway through the first half. I thought the red card hoodoo was going to strike, but excellent effort.

Yee of little faith. The Bert did it again.

Two things I was thinking which I didn’t want to say and jinx anything.
1. Nice to win when a team goes down to 10 men
2. We’re fucking ace

It wasn't just winning against 10-men, it's that we totally dominated from the red card onwards.  How often have we played 10 men and you'd never guess we have a one-man advantage? Or the other team lifts their game and looks a real threat on the break making everything nervy?

We were measured, not rushed at all, played it about nicely looking for openings, and frankly it felt like a matter of time.  It was such an UnVilla-like performance against 10-men, and I absolutely love it.

We do need to sign Harvey Barnes in the summer, that kid is a real talent.

And Maddison, the Cov twat.

Gerrard would have made peak Messi look like Tonev.

Gerrard's got nothing but a bad haircut and a massive ego. He won't get another decent managerial job after Emery has come in and completely embarrassed him with the same tools at his disposal. Good riddance!

Unai Emery is a god.

It's all going our way.
Ollie given onside for his goal.
Am I missing something here? The commentary kept saying how much of a difficult decision it would be for VAR but on the screenshot they were looking at it wasn't even close. He was miles on.

As an aside, I took a look at the lcfc hashtag on Twitter. It's beautiful stuff.

Worried we don't have enough fit players for this run in now.

Young gave absolutely everything tonight, how many more times can he do that this month.

Bertie's winner getting 3 points, enough vindication to bring him back alone.

Well done Unai,  UTV.

I have long stated my love for Bertrand Traore on here. He's a fucking genius.
