Leicester deserve to go down just for Kasabian.

Forest - Paperlace.

Oooh if it comes to underperforming cities and good music

Leeds Nottingham Leicester must be in the mix. Piss poor compared to most of us.

Worst penalty decision in recent memory? Thank fuck for VAR.
I've no idea what the ref thought he saw. Ollie was in front of their player the whole time and clearly got fouled. Straight red? Fucking hell ref get yourself down to specsavers. Fantastic result and a masterclass from Emery to force home our player advantage. How many times in recent years have the opposition been down to ten men only for us to fuck it up?

We completely dominated from midway through the first half. I thought the red card hoodoo was going to strike, but excellent effort.

Say it quietly but we are in at the start of something special. The appointment of Unai Emery could be the most important thing to happen to this club for 40 years.

Up The F****ng Villa !!!!!

If Emery had arrived a few games earlier, I reckon we'd be wetting ourselves over a potential tilt at a Champions League spot.

I tell you what, that's a great result. Three great goals in the game too.

Not much we could do about theirs.

An incredible second goal to cap off a great evening.

I had Castagne to get booked, Watkins anytime and correct score 1-2 at 120/1. I immediately cashed out like a true professional after that goal.

Let's fucking go Bertieee!

another thoroughly professional win. they had brief spells but we controlled the game in the main. fantastic for traore - great goal. and at the end, the spirit was so clear in the squad - credit bailey for going straight over to traore at the final whistle and hugging him.  a terrific 3 points

Not sure I can put into words how much I enjoyed Berts goal.

The one thing that struck me was, we had a manager who asked for moments of magic, and now we have a manager that gets them.  Beundia's pass for the first goal, berts finish, ollies form, the togetherness of this team.  So much to love.

The last time I felt like this about Villa was under Sir Brian, it just feels like we have taken such a huge step forward as a club in the last 6 months.  We'll have set backs, of course, but it feels like everything the club has tried to do since we came up is coming together under Unai, this missing part of the puzzle.

I think as a fan based we were mixed under how good these players are, and if they were at the ceiling.  The club seemed to think they were capable of more, hence Deano and Gerrard going.  And I think we can see now some of the value in decisions going back seasons.  Many of those players are in there 3 or 4th season, and are looking the best they ever have.

Well done to everyone involved

It's all going our way.
Ollie given onside for his goal.
Second yellow for Dewsbuty - Hayes.
Pen overruled by VAR.

Have we become a top 6 side  in  the eyes of POGMOL ?

Two things I was thinking which I didn’t want to say and jinx anything.
1. Nice to win when a team goes down to 10 men
2. We’re fucking ace

It wasn't just winning against 10-men, it's that we totally dominated from the red card onwards.  How often have we played 10 men and you'd never guess we have a one-man advantage? Or the other team lifts their game and looks a real threat on the break making everything nervy?

We were measured, not rushed at all, played it about nicely looking for openings, and frankly it felt like a matter of time.  It was such an UnVilla-like performance against 10-men, and I absolutely love it.

We do need to sign Harvey Barnes in the summer, that kid is a real talent.
