With Coutinho going we’re definitely light in attack.
Watkins Zaniolo Traore Bailey Duran Diaby Kellymam ?

Bearing in mind that’s essentially across three positions and we’ve got at least 6 European games, with a kid who has just made his debut and at least two players with shaky injury records - it’s not as stacked as is looks when you list the names.

I am not sure what the right number is though, I have been expecting Traoré to go and be replaced not added to, we also have Buendia to return.
I would like more quality not quantity given the choice.

Last night shows exactly why you need another one. Traore can't be relied on to be fit at any time, Bailey has not exactly been a pillar of fitness either. Kellyman is 17. Duran has played about 300 minutes at this level. I agree it needs to be a quality addition, but we need one more, as Emery said last night.

I really thought a replacement for Archer leaving was lined up. Perhaps something might happen today, but I'm concerned at the lack of cover up front, especially for Watkins. Philogene should stay if no cover is brought in.

Ideally a striker and a right back to cover Watkin & Cash.

Wouldn't be against Coutinho leaving, he's hardly ever fit.

Strange as his best moments for us came when he first landed and was blowing out of his arse.

Monchi and his wife have a meal booked for this evening - there will be no further incomings apart from the centre half

I'm not sure I ever really believed he'd come here but I am very interested to see where Joao Felix ends up by the end of the day.

As easy as it was, think tonight highlighted where we are short.  Olsen is a disaster waiting to happen and seemingly can't go through a game without making a howler of some sort.  We need Moreno to come back ASAP as we are heavily reliant on Digne at the moment, who himself is quite injury prone.  I like Duran and he has some promise, but we are going to be struggling if we are going to be relying on him to replace Watkins for a period if Ollie is out.

It wouldn't be so bad, but our luck with injuries in recent years is generally rotten and you just know it's going to happen at some point.  I don't want to get carried away, but Manchester City aside, I think we can probably compete with the others, but a significant injury to Martinez or Watkins will hamper us so badly.
So he’s played 135 minutes of this Euro tie and not conceded a goal but you still find a reason to criticise Olsen?

Also, the back up keeper rarely plays, so is always going to be match rusty.
The more games he plays that will disappear as his confidence grows.

What did Emery say? I must have missed it

He said Digne isn't going anywhere

And that with the chance Coutinho goes we are working on one more.

Barcelona, without being registered until Jan is my bet.

AC Milan striker Divock Origi is expected to fly into the UK on Friday afternoon.

One source has told Sky Sports News that representatives held talks with Burnley and Nottingham Forest late on Thursday night over a loan deal.

Decent enough striker for Burnley/Forest.
