Not unless it's to Al Shabab for circa £80 million.

I agree, I have no idea why he wants to move, just putting a reason out there as it strikes me that after 7 years playing abroad a personal reason seems more likely than him being homesick.

Isn’t being homesick itself a personal reason?

Unlikely to be homesickness when he's been away from France as long as he has.

It doesn’t work like that though.

Perhaps there are things going on at home that triggered the homesickness?

I'm not keen on losing Aaron Ramsey, Archer and PDB in the same window, but the fees quoted and apparent buy back clauses make sense. But honestly, I feel we still needed a few names in and big earners like Phil and Digne to leave rather than ship out too many of our academy players who would have been very useful in the cup competitions.

We're going to need to rotate. We've already got gaps to fill with long-term injuries. I'd written off Bertie, but I wonder if he's got a reprieve. Again, frustrating as he is, his unpredictable talents could be useful in some games (particularly European).

I know quality is better than quantity, but we don't wanna leave ourselves short. Archer would score for fun in the Conference.

At what point too, do you lose your heartbeat? Among all the eye-catching signings, it's still great to see youngsters blooded in and given minutes. And yep, obviously FFP has to be a consideration. Are we likely to see any academy players in the first team this season, if the likeliest candidates have all been moved on? I think you can have aspirations to step up a level and still find room for 3-4 youngsters. Pep and Howe are doing it. Ten Hag is likely to blood in a few.

The fee for Ramsey is poor.

Bournemouth just paid £20m for Alex Scott from Bristol City & he has scored 5 goals & 7 assists in 83 appearances by the age of 20 years old.

Last season alone, Ramsey scored 8 & assisted 4 in 29 appearances by the age of 20.

Everything else, I fully agree...

We've sold Aaron, not Jacob...you could triple the fee for Jacob.

We also have a buy back clause on Ramsey which will lower the fee a bit.

Pablo, we get it, you’re not happy but you’re going to have to get over it.

Isn’t being homesick itself a personal reason?

You know exactly what I mean.

No offence PWS but what is wrong with you recently? You’re regularly so prickly.

I can’t see what you find worth getting arsey about in such an innocuous opinion?
