Fulham and Aston Villa interested in Gonzalo Montiel

Fulham and Aston Villa are reportedly interested in Gonzalo Montiel.

Two Premier League clubs are fighting over the World champion. According to Gastón Edul, the two clubs are looking to sign the 26 year old right back.

Let's just get the rest of the Argentinian team.

My god the music on that highlights reel is crap, had to mute it. Not convinced from that video, but I'm not Unai or Monchi, so what do I know.

I liked it. ☺️ One of the few I didn’t have to mute. It’s the dance tunes that I hate.

I can't stand the modern trend to run vocals through a vocoder. That and autotune....the devil's work and especially good at hiding crap vocalists or songs with uninspiring melodies. The bits where he isn't singing are ok, I suppose.

I may be turning into Victor Meldrew.

Well, Emi did say he would try to persuade more Argentinian players to come over and join him.

Chelsea are now in for Brennan Johnson apparently. Is there a player they haven't tried to buy in the last 18 months. Royally pissing me off.

Montiel looks a decent solution at right back, but I doubt we will buy him, he's got a pending legal case I think.

I find it's best to mute and listen to your own music instead (mostly Depeche Mode in my case).

I remember when all the YouTube highlights videos were one of two songs.

"This is ten percent luck
Twenty percent skill
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will
Five percent pleasure
Fifty percent pain
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name"

Or

"Check on the rep, second to none, yeah
This how we get shit done
You can check on the rep, second to none."

Not sure if there's any legs in the Gonzalo Montiel rumour.  But 3 of the Argentinian World Cup winning team in our back 5 would be quite a statement (he was mostly a sub, but got minutes and scored the winning pen I think?)

A decent age at 26 too.

Not sure anyone will buy him this window if you do a quick search on him.

Well you'd certainly hope we're not in for him. No need to invite these things into the club.
