Acuna looks like he had a tough paper round. Transcontinental possibly.

Acuna is ace, he was awesome in the World Cup I thought.

I'd be up for getting Ramos in, it would be a good laugh. Probably get more goals than our midfield. We can put a hit out on Ben Mee as well.

Amazing how times change.

Few years back you were risking monthly bans on here if you dared suggest singing players even approaching 30.

That first season back up we were desperate for some experienced know how in key areas but it was frequently dismissed for up and coming hungry young players.

Acuna's a good player for sure but signing a guy older than Moreno, that's a bit odd to me.

Much rather ask about Tierney who Real Sociedad want on loan and I don't think he even made the Arsenal bench for Forest match.

He looks like he's been dressed by his parents with how much of his shirt is stuffed into his shorts.

If there is any truth in this at all then one thing we won’t have to worry about is being overpowered. Let’s just say he can look after himself. Maybe that but of spite is exactly what we need although there is a very fine line.

Ha! Or as Eamonn put it..
Acuna reminds me a little of Freddie Bouma when defending, but probably more attacking overall

They both look like old spuds.

his age dont worry me , would we turn Kyle walker down from Man city ?

liverpools Thiago Alcântara,Thiago silva, Milner and Tripper all done a brilliant job at an old age

Fernandinho and David Silva were not young and old own Ashley young we signed in his mature years and did a splendid job  and would you have  an old Ramos for a year , yes please .

About time we got some ugly experience hard players in like Acuna who would straight away be used of our Emi M after playing together for the argies and vice versa , lucas Diegne is soft as manure

Id take an Athetico Madrid type hard bastard defence line with the excitement of players like Diaby , Ramsay and Zaniola

With Timber out for months, Arsenal may now not want to lose Tierney.

He's a good player but i've only read about him being a left back, i.e. not used in other positions so it has to mean Digne is off.

would we sign Acuna with the thoughts that Moreno would play further up on the wing?
Get Juan Foyth on the right and now we're talking (I know he wants to go to Barca and would cost a lot)....

Tierney spends a fair amount of time injured too doesn't he? I think Acuna makes some sense, but agree with the age issue Soccer, our back 4 in general needs a couple of younger options coming through.

Foyth was pretty shit for Spurs though. I know he was young and inexperienced but still, my only memories of him were dropping one bollock after another.

If the price is right I'd go for experience now, and look at younger "exciting" players in January or next summer. In defence anyway.

Ramos would be free.

Just saying.
