If people are going to make up ITKs, they’d be best avoiding areas where we’re absolutely stuffed with players.

It seems Forest are signing Matt Turner, the keeper, from Arsenal so they will need to start re-couping some money from somewhere. I would imagine this makes Johnson leaving them more likely but not necessarily for Villa.

Al Hilal are trying to sign Lille striker Jonathan David.
I've always puzzled why no Premier League team ever makes a move for him. Top clubs, including Villa seemingly so are uninterested.
If he was even fancied by anyone in the Premier League, wouldn't even some Everton, Fulham, Brentford Forest, or Palace go after him?

We've been linked with him before. The longer it takes Watkins to sign this contract, the more pressing signing someone like that becomes.

i think we are now overloaded in some areas and light in others e.g. Still need serious backup nr9 , a  RB and a competent Nr 2 , heaven forbid Martinez got injured long term  the season would go down the pan in an instant
