Adams not playing today. Is he injured?

JPB has always had a hyperactive agent…seems like the last 2 summers he always had interest from Dortmund & Leipzig etc…then he signed a new contract…now Liverpool mentioned, await a new contract demand after half a dozen preseason games :-)

Yes. He is not even training at the moment. Said to be close to a return but unlikely to see until the end of this month I'd imagine.

Al-Hilal's offer to loan for João Félix for season rejected by Atletico. Félix apparently not going to rule out move if no other option.
Are he and we playing a waiting game? Maybe time for Emery and Monchi to swoop.

How about Arthur Cabral? Great in conference league last season and Firoentina rumoured to be moving him on.
Adds dimensions to attack and a quality Brazilian striker. Take him for squad depth and experience.

Joao Felix really is a fucking moron if he's painted himself into a corner wanting to play for Barcelona - who don't want and can't afford him - so much so that he's going to play in Saudi.

I wouldn't touch this twat with a barge pole, I don't care how good he is.

Never rated Traore, scored a couple of great goals but never breaks into a sweat, one of the laziest players i've seen in a Villa shirt. I would like to see the stat on how much time he's been injured as against available.

All the media outlets seem convinced that Chelsea will 'unlock" Adams release clause - Villa not even mentioned

No thank you. Massively underwhelming.

In transfer parlance, you only ever "unlock" a warchest. Everyone knows that....amateurs...

Yes, you “trigger” the release clause.

I wonder when clubs lock their warchest? Like, is it just before the transfer window slams shut, or just after? Cos I'd think slamming the window shut might cause a draught which would blow the contents of their war chest all over the office, and Linda from accounts would then need to spend the whole of the next morning picking it all up and putting it back in.

But hasn't the warchest usually been given to the manager by then? So, it's probably a delightful conversation point on a coffee table somewhere.
