Apparently in talks with 20 year old Spanish right back mark pubill
Oh god, that name is going to cause mayhem on here.

He's a hairs breath from signing.

About time, MON wanted him years ago, I remember him saying "he's like a son to me".

Matt Kendrick is the best of the bunch

Ex Heroes & Villains writer.

But none of them are in the same class as Peter Morris, Woodhall or the two blokes off The Villa Podcast.
don't disagree. a lot of the podcasts are not for me. Matt Kendrick speaks the most sense on the ones i've seen , always seems calm(ish) and measured . Some of the others are a joke

Have you heard The Villa Podcast?

That Martinez story is obviously bollocks. Might as well stop reading at 'Argentine journalist'. The Argies all seem to think we're not a big enough club for him.

It's also not how transfers work. Going by the way we've been operating, there's a lot of talk with the player/player's agent/club before the point that an actual offer gets made.
I stopped reading when you said “Argies”

He talks more sense than you, I’ll give him that but it’s an exceptionally low bar.
Nothing wrong with me theorising they just aren't for you. You have your own options and theories but it's good to be open to acknowledge others or things that you wouldn't consider.

Yet you declared something else as. 'nonsense' only a handful of posts earlier. Make your mind up.

Never heard of him, but had never heard of Moreno who has been a brilliant signing.

It's been reported that Nico González will not be included in the Barca squad this season. We've been recently linked with him so it will be interesting to see if we try and do a deal.

UPDATE: He's signing for Porto.

Just as I thought.

There were links with midfielder from Barcelona González but appears he's going to Porto

What about Dan Bardell?

Did you think that, or did you just regurgitate the work of somebody else as it was widely reported on the date you posted?

Quite . That was regarding Kessie and Milan and Villa's highjack rumour. That's not theory it was a rumour which I was dismissing. Kessie Juventus is the latest.

Bardell’s my favourite, just seems such a nice bloke. Kendrick is good too. The two Irish blokes Neil and Paddy are a great laugh as well.

Researched the facts and conceived my own thoughts upon  coming to the conclusion and González move is just as I thought as it suits Porto and their type of signing

Manchester Utd have put a price tag of £40m on McTominay - looks pretty top-end to me but since post-Rice Spam appears to be the strongest suitor it is perhaps not surprising.

I'd cry if we were going to spend £40m on McTominay.

Considering Soucek's form has dropped off a cliff as well, they've got some big central midfield problems.

Unless we sell Donk, I think we're pretty much Ok for cnetre midfield. I can't see us going for McTominay. I'd imagine for £40m, Emery would have other targets in mind.
