It's reported the Dingles have put in a €18m offer for Mateo Retegui. Right now it's Wolverhampton or Genoa. At that price it would be rude not to make an offer.

I was reading about him yesterday and apparently he doesn't speak a word of Italian. Would be much happier here with all the Spanish speakers, I'm sure.

I think I'd be happier if he spoke Italian too. If he wants to continue playing for the national side speaking the language is going to help. Not everybody is as good as Matty Cash whereby you don't need to speak the language. We just need to find him an Italian tutor (Paulie?) and get Emi to give him a call.

Well I can't being ahead of the ball and putting things out there ,flagging things up yet people be oblivious

What more can be done.

Perhaps you could give the rest of us lessons?
I'm not sure if these things can be taught and I certainly lack in many other areas
And  sorry it's just there's a reasonable champions league thread that has resurfaced and its not being used.

I don't think I'll ever fanthom others human behaviour as AI and robots would place the writings in the correct category.
I agree to live and let type on what is going where and shh the Heck up at risk of being a Karen.

We move on

Diluting the self importance, perhaps?

I don't know, footy mate. You seem to post anything you want to on any thread you see fit, yet describe others doing so as polluting.

I dunno, maybe I'm just being grumpy.
Noted.
It's different my posts are not the same  but I understand your and others' points, and I won't ever now pipe up on any posts that deviate from the thread's subject or direct people to the best places to post for clarity and structured conversation.
I need to realise that not everyone values and reads the same way I do. I'm very simple in how I like to read threads that's all.
Apologies and thank you. We move on.

It doesn't take long for a native-Spanish speaker to pick up Italian.

Emi said he was trying to tap up some of his Argentinian team mates, was this said in jest or could there be one incoming?

If so who?

This is why I brought the Champions League restructuring thread back into play.
It's all there and I had the foresight to bring about the discussion again after over 120 days yet still we find the transfer thread being polluted.
I mean I try and help out here by offering an assists but seems unwilling to take the chances and score

Pollute? 🤨

No offence, but I will ask whatever questions I like, in whatever thread I like, as long as I am not asking something so out there, like what is the square root of the colour eight? that it takes the discussion into another dimension...

Sometimes it is incredibly difficult to hold ones tongue.

...Especially when one has a hairline trigger temper.

Yes PP I addressed the problem, took advice from others, and, of course, now realise my mistakes.  I've gained knowledge from your remarks as well. We can all continue in our way without the bad language as I already had said that I would shh the Heck up. I appreciate you wanted a right to reply but need to read the whole pieces of text written and context but I can see I may have offended you so apologies and I understand how that you're annoyed hence your language. Sorry. Can we move on though I didn't mean to upset others from my upset.

Up the Villa!

Gazzeto dello Sport (sp?) are linking us to Zakaria from Juve.

Top player, with height & power, but not sure we need more CMs...

He was at Chelsea last season on loan and couldn’t break through. He’s decent but I don’t think he’s taking the spots of the incumbent players.
