Looking at Doku showreel he is predominantly another left footed wide player?
Surely we have Diaby and Bailey for that role?

Does look like a little powerhouse though

He's naturally right footed but comfortable with both...

Doku would be another huge Bailey upgrade

Fear the Villa!

Assuming none of the stories about people sniffing round Emi, Dougie, Kamara, and Watkins are true, and we don't lose any of them this window, along with the additions we've made already, that seems like a fair assessment. We have a really good squad with options for rotation, and we're coming off a very positive few months last season.

Could actually have been five years were it not for Gerrard.

Yep we lost a year with Gerrard in charge, the colossal fucking useless bell end. But Europe in 5 and CL in 6 would be brilliant. Or even Europa would be a great achievement

Expansion to offset Super League threats. England gets an extra spot because of coefficient.

Emery wouldn't have been available the year before though so, as shit as he was, it led to us getting a proper world class manager.

No probably not, but there was better than Gerrard. That said, firing Gerrard, why and when we did got us Emery. It worked out just as Whelan missing that late penalty got us Deano. Sometimes things just happen for a reason.

I believe it becomes 4 automatic spots and the 5th via an extra round or something of qualifying against a team from Azerbaijan or something. So essentially 5.

Last I heard it was five spots available, but not to all teams who finish 1-5.

The fifth spot will be given to the English team with the highest European coefficient who weren't good enough to qualify that year.

Maybe they've changed it again.

Edit: As above.
