Ever since January Unai Emery has wanted a statement signing that speical someone who scores goals and makes that difference up front.
I think it's more than Diaby or Doku.
The patience hopefully will pay off.
PSG have just announced Mbappe is for sale!

I mean…I wouldn’t say no…right?

He is another tedious ******, I honestly could not give a flying fuck who he plays for.

My wish list would be;

Back up keeper, another right back, another wide player and maybe a centre forward, see how Cam gets on.

When did he say that?
In January in press conferences and interviews regards getting a striker  as well as reporters summising that it would be a statement signing.

We're certainly trying and everyone knows there's no lack of ambition and now have the elite manager it makes all the reason this is a special summer of Villa love.

The only reason he wouldn't join our revolution is the animosity between him and Martinez. Emi insulted him with a doll he had of him theres a lot from the fall out fron the greatest World Cup final ever seen.

The ONLY reason? I can think of many, many more reasons he wouldn’t join us before we get to a nothing issue with Martinez.

Pogba ?
Lingard ?

Between themselves they ruined United .

Surely CR7 would top that list ?

Probably same category as João Félix, Ferran Torres or Asensio. Would be fantastic if it came off but probably unrealistic for right now.

Whilst I agree with this, I am still pleased that we are aiming high. If we get one of these slightly unrealistic targets this season, then we will find it easier in future seasons. Think we may well pull a rabbit out of the hat this season, that will surely be part of Monchi's brief.

Any particular reason for the ire?

Venice-Genoa thing. They didn't like each other 800 years ago and around here that's more than enough.

Also, charlatan, Serb nationalism in Kosovo involves genocide denial. There it is.

Sounds a bit like Shard End and Castle Brom, understood. The Italian bit, not the genocide denial.

*nods*

That's my part of Brum, made me chuckle. Can't say I miss it much.

What 'animosity'? Mbappe doesn't give a toss about Emi's antics. Where do you get this from?

Mbappé is the most talented player I know of, and I really, honestly wouldn't want him at Villa.

You don’t really want the answer to that question so you?
