Well that's good news, provided he's not just a Bailey clone. It seems the step up from the Bundesliga to the Premier League is a tricky one, so let's hope he's better than the last one to take it with us.

So we’ve signed a current Spanish international, a current Belgian international and now almost, a current French international. We needed to add quality over quantity. With only 3 and a bit weeks into the window being open we’ve done precisely that.

Yep and I bet we are not finished yet

Won’t surprise me to see us break our transfer record one more time this summer. Probably on a forward. We need three excellent options up front.

I just can’t see that unless we shift Bert and Bailey who’ve both played CF at a high level.

I think Archer is the first reserve now and starter for cup matches.

It's sportswashing and it's working. Every other football article at the moment is about Saudi.
Sad state of affairs this

I think Risso's point is why pay him £2m a week when he'd probably have gone for £300k a week. If anything, paying players such blatantly stupid amounts undermines the credibility of the league rather than adds to it. But then there are people who pay 1500 quid for a steak covered in gold leaf.

Is that with or without pepper sauce?
Not sure but you do get 22 carrots.

So my math isn't great, but have we just paid £30m for Torres, £0 for Tielemans & about to pay £43m for Diaby?

Again, math not good, but is that £73m for 3 top quality international marquee players?

Is it bad news that the Diaby thread has disappeared?

In the online gambling industry, where I've prayed on the weakest of society made a gainful living for almost 20 years, games are driving by their maths profile. So, mathematics is an incredibly important thing.

But everyone, and i mean EVERYONE says "math" not "maths". It seems to be an industry norm.

You'd fucking hate it.

Wheres the Diaby thread?
What's the criteria?
I mean I had a Monchi thread up before official and that was cruelly taken away yet it was the case
Now Diaby discussion has gone?!

Ahh I see. Fair enough. Official announcements only . OK I get that once the club confirm it.
