Diaby getting closer apparently. The only thing I know is that his pace is 94 on Fifa 23 as my lad was playing as Leverkusen the other day. Mark Wood rapid that.
Does he go to ground as often as Mark Wood?

It annoys me when we go off topic sometimes when I am looking for News .  However I love you lefty baldy middle-aged  loonies

It only veers off when there's literally nothing happening. As soon as it does there are pages devoted to whoever.

whomever ?

No, I think 'whoever' is right.

'Whomsoever' surely?

Someone is going to check the site for the first time today some time soon and see this thread and think "Fucking hell! Another five pages! We must be close to signing someone" and then actually look at this, and see it was originally an argument about use of the word "United" which then turned into a secondary long discussion about drifting off topic.

Marvellous.

Serves them right for not looking at the site for hours and hours.

This is exactly what has just happened to me! Bah!

Possibly, but 'dedicated to he' doesn't scan whereas 'dedicated to him/them' does

Mind you, I managed to get an O Level in English Language without ever knowing the difference between a verb, adverb, adjective etc :)

You know what, I'm doubting myself now. I don't know why I said anything, my grammar is shit. I also got an A in Eng Lang whilst knowing close to fuck all.

Anyway it's 'Yanited' 🙂.

Well, the last few pages have cheered me up no end. AV84, don’t take it to heart, you’ve been a really good new poster until that fuck up. :-)
It’s mainly tongue in cheek really but it does wind me up with the ‘United’ thing too, fucking arrogant bastards who think they’re the only one. Fuck em. It’s like giving them too much respect.
As for Villa Talk, you’re not missing much if they won’t let you join. Fuck them an all.

Yeah, the whole conversation with the idiot made me realise it wasn't going to be my thing. It reminded me of the old days of IRC when power-mad ops would completely ruin channels.
What you actually had a conversation with a mod and they refused to let you join?  Wtf is that all about?  I haven't been on VT for years.  I just haven't got time for a bit on the side.

They wanted to see my facebook page to prove who I was. I don't use facebook. I gave them my LinkedIn, which had enough info to call my place of work and speak to me at my desk, but apparently that wasn't good enough as I 'could be anyone'.

I said I wasn't really interested in playing their sad little games and came here instead.

I had exactly the same experience a couple of months back. No idea why I even wanted to join, it's a terrible site - must have been a comment that annoyed me which I wanted to reply to. Best out of it.

If writing United is a problem of such gigantic proportions thank McGrath nobody mentioned City then.

Few reports saying we've been sounded out about Nico Gonzalez at Barca. His agent has been onto us and Wolves on the off chance he decides he wants to leave Barca this summer.
Multiple clubs in Spain and Portugal are interested but Jorge Mendes has been offering him to Prem sides too.

According to his father he lad wants minutes. Porto earlier this month have put a proposal on the table which apparently the player didn't turn down but right now he wants to know if he stands a chance of getting games with Barca. He's off on tour of the US with them.

Fun fact: He has a buy-out clause of 1bn euros.

Lots of Twitter around about us being willing to listen to offers for Digne.  Seems Unai doesn’t rate him or doesn’t think he’s worth the money we play him.  So I suppose we will need to add a new left back to the list of potential incomings
