PSG does seem like a very happy place to be at the moment, can't really blame anyone for choosing them over us.

One of those who would be great, but would surely have wealthier suitors.

Edit - although following Sancho and Bailey I guess any brilliant, speedy winger from the Bundesliga carries a bit of a health warning these days.

I saw that too Dave, inevitably, Newcastle and Man Yew linked but I would have thought they are both stacked for wingers if Barnes goes to Newcastle.  I suspect you're right though.  Alex Baena has been linked with us too, somewhere or other too.

Diaby is like Torres I think, unattainable probably 12 months ago but with him still at his present club and us having european football to offer potential signings I don't think it's hugely unrealistic.

He's also ideal for what we seek, plays out wide but think he can play central aswell. 15 goals in Bundesliga and europe last season (I appreciate I was saying all this about Bailey two summers ago!).

A mate who was watching his nephew ref an under age team at Bodymoor today was talking to a member of staff. Big money European striker / wide player arriving by Wednesday.

Hot off the press, you heard it here first, don’t get more ITK than that!!

Sounds great, but is someone at the club really going to divulge something like that to a guy who is only in the building to watch his nephew referee an under-age game?  I hope he's right though!!

You’re very likely to be 99% correct, always a small chance though!

I emailed it to "Football Insider" and they said it was the most credible piece of transfer gossip they've had in years.

Does anyone anyone out there not know someone who works at Bodymoor, with a penchant for tittle tattle?

Me. I completely rely on this place for any news. That and idly looking at click bait transfer nonsense.

I'm surprised Villareal have any players left to sell. I suppose there's still that French lad at PSG.

Hookey and Vinnie are our best sources.
