Link to Openda at Lens on Twitter, sources don’t   look the most reputable but when has anything on social media ever turned out not to be accurate?

He'd be really good, but I thought he was heading to Leipzig.

Openda would work well for us, could play with Watkins or in place of him.

My comment was in reference to players returning to the fold. Youngsters mainly and how they fit in with the rest. I’m sure the likes of Sanson or Wesley aren’t required and are just waiting on moves. And he’s just put together what he wants his recruitment staff to be along with Monchi.

There was a list in the Birmingham Mail q&a of players that are being allowed to leave, younger ones on loan, senior ones sold. Sanson and Wesley were both on it. Interestingly Dendonker wasn't on it, but maybe he's the kind of player that we'd want a replacement for before we sell him.

A Birmingham Mail q&a has no more kudos than this transfer thread…have no doubt Wesley, Sanson, Dendonker, Davis, Traore, Hause are all available for transfer on our terms

Looks a bit like a Julian Joachim but scores goals

Except for Donk, they were all on the list, so....

Did we pay 12-13m for him? For me his biggest asset to us is that he’s steady most of the time and he brings a bit of height to a short squad

I'm sure he's going to be sold, and apparently he has teams in 4 or 5 different countries interested in him. I just think if there's a list of players to just get rid of, and a list of players to hang on to for a bit, just in case, he'd be on the latter.

Said this before probably, but Dendoncker has a weird look about him, like a socially awkward, 17 year old lanky Belgian exchange student (with that bumfluff moustache) who has just gone through a mental growth spurt and was 5'1 this time last year. Parents of host family think he's lovely, but he actually smokes 60 unfiltered fags a day and has been introducing their kids to glue.

I am probably overthinking this.

He reminds me of one of the Beckham kids.

Sporting Lisbon still refusing to sell Pedro Gonçalves for anything less than his 80m Euro's release clause. Reports in Portugal say we've walked away.

Listens to the 12" of Holiday Rap, wears fluorescent jogging bottoms and sandals with white socks.

I see that young Mallorca winger we were linked with, Lee Kang-In has signed for PSG. Ugarte, Assensio and Kang-In all linked with us. Why can't they fuck Newcastle's transfer window up, instead of ours!
