Presumably a right full back?

Yup. But the sort of right-back that can also drop into a back three or midfield.

Plus knows Donk and Tielemans from Belgium. And tall, which we're very much not at the moment.

I'd be pretty comfortable with it.

Yeah me too.

In Unai we trust.  Let's get it done then.

If the rumoured price is anywhere near correct it’s a decent deal. It’s either this or a shed load on a bona fida 1st team upgrade.

Sounds like a good upgrade on Ashley not so Young.

Apparently we've had a bid turned down for Federico Chiesa....

Seeing some Twitter nonsense about us offering 60 million for Chiesa.

Will give Coutinho and Traore someone to chat to while they're waiting for the physio.

Slotting into CB and CM were never Young’s forte so it makes sense tactically but loses some integrity points (whatever they are).

Chiesa was fantastic at the Euros in 2021 on the back of exciting club form but I haven't kept tabs on him since. Did he get a big move and struggle?

He should bring his dad, too. He can probably still put in a performance.

Chiesa trufact - speaks perfect English, went to an International School in Florence when his dad was at Fiorentina, lessons in English.

Insanely attractive Mrs. Even by footballer standards.

I do wonder how likely he is to want to come here, though.

Starting to find myself thinking we're going after players who don't want to come here.

Thing is we need to fish in those ponds. Maybe we don’t catch much this time around but we might get a bite or two. Next window, if we are doing well in the league and cups we become that little bit more attractive. Get to the CL and it’s game on. I’d rather shoot for and miss the Marco Asensio’s and Chiesa’s of the world than the players we have had to go after in our recent history. Shit bags Wolves have done bloody well in that regard so no reason we can’t get one or two very decent players
