Too many links to centre backs for us not to be prioritising one. Laporte, Torres, Erickson (Fabrizio Romano) all linked last few days.

Strange as we are well sorted in that position. Does make me wonder if one of Mings / Konsa/ Chambers/ Costa is on the way out. Any two of that lot coming in would give us a very good set to pick from.

Maybe, as good as Mings and Konsa have been, he wants players with a different skill set. Maybe he is just ultra ruthless and wants to make them reserves by increasing the standard.

Whatever happens it is interesting.

Genuine question - who is Erickson?

Sure Chambers will be moved on & Hause obviouslyÖ.Feeney & Bogarde need to be out on loan so 4 centre halves of Torres, Mings, Carlos and Konsa seems pretty good to me

Pretty good collection if you ask me.

I was very impressed by Leicesters Scandinavian left back when they beat us here, think it was his debut. Not a priority position mind.

Plus I'm not sure how much I fancy Diego Costa lining up for us at centre-back.

Perhaps Rui is coming out of retirement.

Heís looking at center backs because his whole system relies on ball players playing out from the back
Konsa and Mings are to slow and cumbersome trying to do that and neither are not natural passers of the ball

Itís not that they are bad defenders just look at the clean sheets, itís more that everything starts at the back with football and they arenít a perfect fit to play that way

There will be changes made in that area for next season imo

Yes sorry - brain fart. Also on further analysis it was a fake 'Romano' account with very few followers so file under total bollocks. Still there do seem a lot of links to centre backs.

Can definitely see Coutinho being offloaded to one of the Saudi teams now after the recent news this week. Good deal for all parties.

Id suggest over the last 6 months Mings at least has proven he can play this way.

Dewsbury-Hall sounds like somewhere you used to go on a school trip.
Yes indeed. Everytime I hear a commentator mention that name I think to myself "have I been there?"

I think itís in Shropshire.

Welcome to Antiques Roadshow. Coming tonight from the grounds of Dewsbury Hall. Cue theme tune.

Isnít Dewsbury-Hall a bit of a clogger whereas Smith-Rowe more of an industrious creative type?
