One player who could be interesting for us if the headlines are correct is Feyenoord's Kokçu who is seen as the ideal replacement for Enzo Fernández at Benfica. €25m being quoted as the price. Anybody know anything about him?

We were being linked with him a couple of months ago. Those that have seen him said he would be a good signing. Think Arsenal have been linked with him (but the London press link them and Tottenham to everyone).

Also from my source in Lisbon -

He is great! Can play as a CM, CAM, RW, LW. Scores a lot of goals anda makes a lot of assists. He is a great finisher and playmaker, but he is agressive aswell. But after selling Ugarte to Chelsea i dont think Pedro Gonçalves Will leave Sporting this season. And if he does will be for a lot of money (60-80 M€)

Kokcu would be a brilliant signing. Dutch born but has opted to play international football for his parents country, Turkiye. My Dutch pal, who supports Feyenoord and also Villa said Kokcu will go this summer and he would rather he came to us.

Other players that I think we could realistically get are Wan Bissaka from Man Utd (good player and would suit Emery's asymmetric fullback style as more defensive minded) and Zaha on a free who would be an exciting signing.

Can’t see Wan Bissaka being an Emery style player, Their fans moan that whilst he is a good one on one defender he has very little attacking ability which wouldn’t suit our way of playing

I've definitely read Kokcu linked with Liverpool as well so he must be rated.

They could  have bought Famalicão's share by now.

I'm sure they've tried but the tough part of negotiating a deal is having an unwilling seller.

Benzema leaving RM, could this mean Kane moving there?

He's nailed on coming to B6.

The Guendozi stuff seems to have gone very quiet, there must have been something in that in January given the noise from his side?

It's possible that the performances of McGinn, Luiz, Ramsey & Kamara have been enough to show that maybe this area is not the priority it might have been.

On the other hand, Buendia, Bailey & to a lesser extent Cash have shown we need first choice replacements. Alongside some competition for Watkins.

Nico Williams was linked with a move to Villa in January.  His club have missed out on any European football as they finished 8th in Spain.  Osasuna got the Conference spot.  Hopefully, we are back in for him.

Gnonto was grand for his first 10 games but what exactly did he do in the run-in to help save Leeds? He's a young inconsistent talent but then so is Philogene.

Didn't he spend quite a bit of time on the bench in the last few games?  Played well at Villa Park, although Ashley did a decent job on him.  Seemed to fall away after that.
