Romano's fine, apart from his weird and creepy habit of referring to players by their first names.

A lot of people do that.

Especially with "Trent" Alexander-Arnold.

Pisses me off no end.

My mates do it too. Like they know him & go out for a pint with him every Thursday night.

I think most people do it because they can’t be bothered to say his surname. I know what I’d rather type.

They do it while talking too.

I always interrupt them & ask when is their next night out with him down the pub?

You are right though. It is pure laziness.

Don’t we use Ollie, Dougie and Emi more often than not, though?

I was going to say that, plus nobody else is called 'Trent', not even Terence Trent D'Arby anymore

Some might. Others, only when shouting encouragement from the stands.

Has this Martinez talk come up again because of something nobody said on Twitter?
No, it's because we have nothing else to talk about as we are ignoring "the People's Cup Final"

The Powerhouse. 1987 (?). One of the best gigs I’ve ever been to. Like watching Prince in a small venue.

Linked with Pedro Goncalves of Sporting CP today, winger with a decent goals and assists record. No idea if he is any good.

Did he score that great goal against Arsenal in the Europa or was that someone else?

I don't.

I don't even do it with the Ramsey brothers.

TTD is quite high on my list of "if you could have been any musician...". Looks, talent, voice. Now he lives in Italy and records whatever mad things he chooses,  because his debut keeps paying out.
