There is absolutely no point in debating with him, surprising he is allowed to trolll this obviously.

At time of posting, he's broken no site rules so I'm not sure what exactly we should be stopping him from doing.

If you feel that people shouldn't engage with him, can I respectfully suggest that you lead by example if it bothers you so much?
People don't understand the point of the debate.
No, I don't believe Perez is among players that would make us top 4.
And although I've been making the case that it's feasible, I wasn't urging us to sign him.
I was just pointing out that it's a possibility and it's a plausible signing on a free transfer.
There will be no more Perez discussion from me.

You don't need to stop posting about Perez, Footy. You also don't need to be told what you can and can't post by me, or anyone else here (moderators excepted, obviously). It was a perfectly reasonable suggestion as something that 'could' happen. Keep going.

That experience negotiating with Betis is going to be really handy, given that he plays for Leicester.

I have 2 concerns with Barnes.

Firstly he's pretty much only ever played as a left winger and our 'normal' shape for the last 6 months has used Moreno in that role with the left sided midfielder/wing drifting much more central and with a lot more defensive responsibility.
Secondly he blows hot and cold, on his day he's a great player who can score goals like the one against us, but he also has a lot of games where he does fuck all.

He's definitely better than Bailey but I'm not sure if he's so much better that we should change our way of playing to fit him in.

If you look on Leicester forums they're much more critical of him than you'd expect given his goal return.
So, we would agree the kid has got obvious talent and potential but is a bit inconsistent?
Maybe, with the best manager in the world managing him, he could get that consistency and become the top quality wide player we desperately need?

I have one big problem with Ayoze Perez, from this thread alone I've learned that hes Spanish and that he's played for 2 Premier League Clubs but other than that I couldn't tell you a thing about him, what type of player he is, what he's supposedly good at, what he's bad at, what he even looks like. I genuinely don't know who he is and for somebody that's been in the League for a while that's a big fuck off red flag.

Me too. I've heard the name but that's absolutely it.

To get him you’d have to spend exceptionally big and given Brighton are in the Europa League I can’t see anyway he’d want to leave.

One of Man Utd's youth coaches described Evan Ferguson as a £60m mistake because they had him on trial there and chose not to give him a contract.

Brighton have shown they can squeeze every drop out of transfer deals and then replace them. If they sell Mac Allister and Caceido this summer after selling Trossard in January, they won't be short of a few quid themselves. Buying from them probably isn't going to be getting the best value out of our budget.

The most important thing this summer is to move Bailey out.

The most important thing this summer is to move Bailey out.

It really isn't. He may not be consistent in his final product but he causes teams all sorts of issues. If we qualify for Europe he'll be hugely useful.

He mostly drags us down.

Decent backup for Nico Williams next season.
