OK well I won't do a list of 50 but thats not because I can't.
I'll do 2 or 3 if it comes to mind before the window officially opens.
I think you two are very reasonable suggesting this. And will find some players that interest me.

To be fair Footy, you mentioned Lo Celso a while ago, and he's been strongly linked now.

Even a blind squirrel occasionally finds a nut.

Footy's more of a bushy-tailed, bright-eyed, naive squirrel rather than a blind one.

Not one you want focusing on your nuts though.

None of us are in ITKs as it relates to Villa transfers. Only the club knows. All any of us can do is regurgitate what we may read or hear from someone else. And as for contacts, no doubt they exist, but nobody can categorically claim the name of a certain player for compromising said contacts. Vinnie of our congregation probably comes closest and even then he is careful with names and usually he comes on towards the end. Anything else, especially so early is purely speculation and the vast majority is utter bollocks. And sites like Footy Insider are precisely the opposite of what they claim to be.

A number of links to Betis midfielder Manuel Ugarte today. Looks a good all round midfielder

Are we still the second best side after the recent road bump (1 point from 9)?

Yep, a point ahead of Arsenal.

Too many links. Sporting aren't happy with the behavior of Liverpool and are threatening legal action. Ugarte's an exceptional tackler, unbelievable in fact but he doesn't have much more to his game. Still, if you want to play with just one defensive midfielder, he'll do the job. €60m is taking the piss though.
