So. Just in time for the Spurs game. Who would have thought it?

If he appeals then would be allowed to carry on playing until it's confirmed?
Why would he appeal, the timing means the first 3 months is closed season.

To get it reduced?

All this bollocks about diluting the spirit of the league and then they make a decision that's doing just that.

The 8 months presumably factored-in the "off season".

At what level did they agree that now was the best time to do this rather than wait 10 days. Incompetence at best but surely someone on the panel must have said "hang on a minute - why don't we just see the season out and then announce the ban ?" He missed the last game injured anyway FFS

I never appreciated how good Cavani was until I saw him play for Man Utd. One of the most intelligent strikers I think I've ever seen.
Yes indeed. I watched his super present mind in action in the 3rd round match. His natural laziness had allowed his man, Konsa, to elude him. On realising this he decided to run into Ramsey to earn a foul in the “build up” leading to our goal. Some will say a cheat but as long as officials are blind he’s intelligent.

One example against us cheating doesn't stop him being intelligent no matter how blind the officials are. He gets praised a lot by professionals and I can see why, I'd want any young striker watching his movement. Loads of these pricks cheat, we need to become pricks as well.

Spanish journalist  Guillem Balagué is also informed as he knew about Emery and then Paco coming in. I think he also knew of Coutinho Villa interest. I find Balagué one to look out for due to being Spainish football expert and seems connecter on all things Spainish related.

I don't find Pete O'Rourke of football insider too reliable.
He announced that " Brentford confident of fending off Aston Villa's Ivan Toney bid"

I don't buy it

In the know is only those the club or agent choose to use to spread info…those 2 from Sky Sports really aren’t…certainly not outside of London clubs

As for the locals you can tell they aren’t exclusive, they are embargoed…for instance there may be one bit of info they are given in todays press conference that is embargoed till 10.30pm where all the local journos will tweet it.

The only thing I know about Jimmy White (before my time) is that he lost, what, 7 world title finals? What I don't know is, did he bottle many of them? Or was he always just outplayed?

Main reason is he liked to party. A lot. It's actually quite an achievement he did what he did considering he was reaching world finals, winning other titles while rarely practicing and being out at clubs during tournaments, addicted to crack etc.
