Onana has been linked with Chelsea (let's face it, they need another midfielder).

It will be interesting to see if we do send Duran out on loan. It would be unusual to spend £18m on a young talent and loan them out. Presumably his salary is high enough that we would have to supplement it too. Normally that only happens with players who's moves have failed. As long as we're in Europe next season, we could start with Archer and Duran for a lot of the games.

I think JWP is under-rated. We may well be playing 3 games a week so we need to be able to rotate without the overall levels dropping.

I can't imagine Beckham as a wing-back. Part of what made Beckham was having Gary Neville supporting him and making overlaps for him. Their combination has been one of the best in the modern game.

When you talk about the death of 4-4-2, I assume you mean a flat 4 with 2 out and out strikers. As a variant of a 4-4-2 has taken us on a 10 game unbeaten run!

If Everton drop I wouldn't be against us going for Onana at Everton.  Other than that, I'll leave it to Emery who I'm certain has certain players in mind. The more unheard of the better.

No, I don't think he's any good really but his teammates are terrible so he looks better as a result

I don't agree with replacing Bailey, given where we want to be, I'd be looking to add another player that can play in that position. Similar with the striker slots. I'd guess that one of Duran and Archer may go out on loan and that we'll bring in another because we need that strength in depth, particularly if we can finish top 7 and have Europa League/Conference football to contend with.

We need somebody much better than Bailey to be first choice, and also somebody much better than Bailey to be back up. He offers nothing in 95% of the games he plays in.

Duran definitely needs a loan, he needs to play week in, and week out in English football like Archer is doing now.

If Middlesbrough don't go up, I'd be inclined to send him up there for a season and we have Archer back.

Yes I mean that version of 4-4-2 back then. What we're doing uses 4-4-2 as a basic shape, so it is back - however, the fundamentals of how we play it are so different it's like we're playing different sports.

He does, because he's played a big part in our unbeaten run. He occupies defenders, creates space and creates chaos.... Unfortunately, on that last point. granted, it's for us as much as the opposition.

I think we need to get him fit and confident in his fitness so he can utilise that pace more.

Not for me, sorry. Every other player has improved drastically under Emery, Bailey's as bad as he's ever been. Move him on and use the money for somebody better.

Bailey's been useful to the team, but in a way that honestly tons of players could've been (being fast and moving where he's told). I agree he hasn't improved enough, in my opinion.

I really like Bailey and would love to see him fulfil his potential but I’m just not sure or confident he will ever do it consistently enough for us.

I agree, a 2nd striker who gives us width on the right to balance out Moreno breaking forward on the left is useful but Bailey hasn't done the job especially well. Recently McGinn drifting forward into that role has been more effective.

I hope he's able to play again soon just so we have another body. But based on what I've seen so far under Emery, I hope we move him on in the summer. Everybody's increased their levels but he hasn't. We should be able to bring in someone who will be a better fit for Emery.

Emery has given an interview in Spain saying that every player in the squad is upgradeable, ie replaceable. That being the case, surely you start with the consistently weakest player in the squad?

Yep, I'd move Olsen on first too.
