He's not a bad player to be fair. I just don't know with centre halves these days though, it's hard to judge as a lot is down to how the team they play in setup.

I quite like Joachim Anderson at Palace for example, and was pointing it out to Risso when he slashed the ball into his own net for our winner. But what I have seen is a player that can pass the ball very well for a centre half, however he might be crap at defending, I don't know, I don't watch him enough to say.

I don't want us to sign the lad from Palace. I have no idea whether he's any good, but commentators never refer to him as 'Andersen', it's always 'Joachim Andersen' and it winds me up.

Forwards
Odsonne Edouard (Palace)
Nicolas Jackson (Villareal)
Gerard Moreno (Villareal)
Aubameyang  (Chelsea)
With the possible exception of Jackson, that is a really, really poor offering for striker, FV!

I’ll see that and raise you a ‘Trent’.

Kyle Walker? Seems like Man City aren't going to be using him much..

Always forget he played for us, Walker. Same as Ryan Bertrand. I think it's something to do with full backs doing 6 months on loan not registering whatsoever.

Walker is finished I think. Not the athlete he once was.

A nearly 33 year old that makes loads of mistakes, relies on pace that is going to wane soon, and massive wages. Not for me.

Yes, I think you’re right.
He’s 32, so probably not finished as such, but certainly not the player he was.
